Cois na hAbhann is a spectacular destination centre which was founded in 2007 by Michael & Mary Nolan along with their daughters Elaine and Maria. Elaine, a qualified horticulturist manages the Garden Centre while Maria runs the interior and giftware department.

Our aim was to create a quality garden centre with the emphasis on good customer relations. The centre comprises an award winning Garden, Home and Lifestyle Centre as well as The Bay Tree Cafe which specializes in using locally sourced produce to create garden fresh salads and hearty mouthwatering lunches along with homebaked cakes. It’s the perfect spot for a restorative coffee and treat.

Although we have only been open a relatively short time we are proud to have been the recipient of many prestigious awards to date. In 2008/2009 after being opened for 6 months we were awarded four stars and won “Best New Entry” in the Bord Bia quality Awards. In 2009/2010 and 2010/2011 we were awarded 5 stars and also won “Bord Bia Garden, Home and Lifestyle centre of the year” (Small).
